Final project 07-april-2011

The final project that my group and I have done is the Hiro's cooking journey. It is about

Hiro, who is a Singaporean cat with Japanese descent. He decides to try cooking curry fish after getting tired of eating raw fishes and buying a recipe book. After numerous arduous attempts, he managed to find the perfect way to cook curry fish. One day, while watching television programmes, Hiro chanced upon a cooking competition which he eagerly wanted to participate in. However, he was met with fierce objections from his parent.

This is the chosen style of our storybook. It is cute and kiddish. The color that we employ in this pictures is mostly simple tone color.

 

This is one of the draft scene of the storybook that we have thought of, but we think that it is not that kiddish in term of it character.Therefore we come up with another version.

This is the final version of our story book. The setting is more cozy and children could better relate to.

These are the 4 types of infographic that i had drawn to represent the article on climate changes.
But the final piece is the piece that i really like and prefer over the rest. It is shown in a very concise way and it is easy to lay the eye upon.

These are the color scheme that i have created. They represent different feelings and emotion toward traveling.

This is the chosen pieces. I prefer this color combination than others. It give me a feeling of traveling is a nice thing to do.

Assignment 3 21-march-2011

This is a story about a dog named zhu zhu and his little red ball. Zhu zhu love to play with his little red ball. He chase the ball, chew the ball, and sleep with the ball too. One day, after sleeping with the red ball, he discovered that the red ball is missing when he wake up. Searching high and low for the ball, he could not find it anywhere, but he did not know that the ball is stuck to his back. Poor zhu zhu never realize that the ball is with him all along. tired and exhausted from all the searching, he finally give up and rest for the day.

The two words that i have chosen are " calm" and "agitation". I have represent the words as a 2D form.
The upper drawing is "calm", it represent a standstill state that is undisturbed and peaceful by its own.

The lower drawing is "agitation", it is represent by a uneven line with weird angles and spaces from the usual stable square box.
